Wondering if there is some way weather running some 3rd party program, or something i haven't tried that will remove the update(s). It has a refurbished sticker on it from somewhere on it too. So i'm not sure i should tell them they should get the disk, or if this is just going to fry not that far off. Seems to be coming from somewhere on the motherboard.
It is making some odd lick clicking/squealing type noises though. I ran the diagnostics too they all came out as okay. At least what I've usually found you can't really do much for ad or remove things in safe mode. Only thing i can think to do now is maybe see if there is some tool or some way to uninstall the update in safe mode. He didn't give me a disk with it, and from dealing with him before he usually don't have the disks.
I ran an SFC, chkdsk /r /f tried a restore, witch for some reason is disabled. It boots to safe mode I noticed messages about reverting windows update, but still didn't work. I tried booting up to see what "dead" meant it seemed to start loading windows then just restarted. The client told me his son said it was "dead" he wanted me to try to fix.
